The ROG band 1 will help gamers to get into the habit of taking short breaks by sensing the user's wrist posture and offer notifications when it is needed to stand up and relax wrist and shoulder muscles. Combined with built-in heart rate monitors, ROG band 1 is able to raise health awareness in the gaming market.

Let’s start with some background information.
ROG’s commitment to perfecting the gaming experience extends to an ecosystem that includes peripherals, components, and devices that communicate and enhance each other.
One example is Aura sync, which is a RGB lighting system across an entire environment.
In 2006, an elite team of ASUS engineers and designers committed to creating the world's best gaming experiences came together to start the Republic of Gamers(ROG).Since its founding, ROG has set new industry standards creating innovative, hardcore gaming gear that empowers gamers and enthusiasts everywhere. ROG has also been looking for opportunities to expand its brand language, it has had partnerships with artists and other brands across the globe.
In 2021, ROG and IKEA collaborated together to bring a comfortable, relevant, functional, beautiful set-up for gamers. Clacking keys; smashing button; quick clicks; precise sweeping gestures with a mouse; they all contribute to muscle fatigue. The best way to let our tendons/muscles recover is to stretch our wrists every 45 minutes of gaming.

Initially, I wanted to design something minimal, but also with a concept of armors as many of ROG’s current products have this style language built-in. In some of my designs, the screens are not informative enough and some have a hinge that is visually pleasing but too brittle in real life.
With some iterations on the watch face, I was able to pin down my final design: a hexagonal chassis with a rectangular screen in the center. The side “armors” have RGB lights built-in to enable the best experience for gamers.
Now we step into 3d.
This is the lock screen, the user will be able to change the wallpaper to any pictures they like, but we have a few options built-in.

The ROG band will detect the user's heart rate and can be streamed in streaming software.
When the ROG band senses that the user has been playing at an unhealthy posture for a period of time, it will vibrate and notify the user to raise their arm.
The embedded sensors will keep track of the user's heart rate and posture.
On the side there is a wheel offers easier control for in-game audio, scroll up and down to adjust, press to mute.
The ROG band I has Aura Sync RGB lights built-in, you can enjoy the game with a surround RGB environment experience.
