Thumbnail Sketching
Initially, I started drawing the 2d views of the speaker and then imagined how it would look like in 3d. When I was exploring forms, I found the handle part of a speaker is crucial yet interesting. It defines such a character to the speaker, so I sketched different kinds of handles, some are form iterations, others are different interaction methods.
Sliding Strap
Then, this sliding strap idea caught my eyes. It is such a simple but playful element. Since many of Libratone’s speaker has a swappable cover element, in my speaker I would like to include a swappable handle
as well.
